Welcome back to a new school year at Brookwood! I cannot wait to get to know all of you!
Thank you for all of the supplies you have brought or sent in to help us begin our school year. I know it can be overwhelming, especially if you have more than one child. Please know I appreciate it greatly!
If you have not already signed up for our class' Remind texts, please do so ASAP. This is the main way that I can get information out to all parents at once. To sign up, please text the message @mrsrojas4 to 81010 or 303) 219-0978.
We will be working on getting back into the school routine and classroom expectations for the first couple of weeks, then we will begin our trips to Lakeshore. We have a limited amount of weeks that we can set our turtle traps before it gets too cold, so we will be going several times a week beginning in mid to late August. Please bring an extra set of clothes (including undies and socks!) to leave at school, as well as an old pair of shoes or boots that can get muddy!
We have a full-time student teacher from Dalton State this semester. Her name is Ms. Llydia Filippo. Ms. Filippo will be with us every day between now and early December. I am excited to welcome her to Brookwood and our classroom!
I look forward to a wonderful year!!
